(CBS/AP) TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - A gunman opened fire at a bar in Tuscaloosa and wounded multple people, Alabama police said.
City Police Sgt. Brent Blankley tells The Associated Press that "multiple people were shot" at the Copper Top bar at around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. He said no arrests were made as of 7 a.m., but police have surveillance video of a suspect in the shootings.
Hospital spokesman Brad Fisher told the AP that a total of 17 people were being treated at DCH Regional Medical Center. Four of the victims have been admitted to the hospital, and two of them were receiving critical care. It wasn't immediately known whether all had been hit by gunfire, Fisher said.
Police released a black-and-white video showing a man from the back as he walks down a sidewalk with a gun allegedly in one hand. He is described as the suspect in the shootings. Police were still processing the scene Tuesday morning and declined to release further details until a news conference later this morning.
