Eyjafjallajokul Cam, 24 x 7

The Noepakot and Thorvaldseyri farms are dwarfed by a plume of ash rising from a volcano erupting under the Eyjafjallajokull glacier, as seen from Hvolsvollur, Iceland, Wednesday, May 5, 2010. A new wave of dense volcanic ash from Iceland snarled air traffic Wednesday in Ireland and Scotland and threatened to spill into the air space of England. Just in case you were still wondering what was going on with Iceland's Eyjafjallajokul volcano, now you can watch around-the-clock through a webcam that's trained on the still-smoldering mountain top. I had some sporadic connection problems earlier but it's been working fairly well for most of the day.

Actually, we're talking about four webcams, which were installed by Mila, a spin-off from Iceland Telecom. Here's the llink to the other vantage points.
