Grand theft pastry? Paris Hilton's birthday cake nabbed by "Paz"

Grand Theft Pastry: Paris Hilton?¢????s Stolen Birthday Cake
To be fair, that is a pretty delicious looking cake Facebook: whoispaz

(CBS) - Can you believe our little girl just turned 30? Too bad she never got to enjoy her birthday cake. It seems Paris and her party were the victims of a ruthless cake-jacking.

On Wednesday night, . Hilton and a few hundred of her closest friends were apparently celebrating her birthday Hollywood-style: that is to say, with alcohol, lots of flashing lights and a few unwanted party crashers. One of them apparently  goes by the Facebook handle "Paz." According to Paz, he had a bit too much to drink and decided to take home a souvenir of the party.

As Paz tells it on his Facebook page, "I brush shoulders with the guy who resembles the head of security. 'Hey man,' I say to him with an air of I-know-what-I'm-doing. 'The cake is in that room, right?' 'Yes, sir,' he acknowledges with a slight bow toward the rear of the house. I take my cue and make a bullet for cake city. In one fluid motion, I sidestep a confused waiter, seize the prize, and about face to the door. I pass the security chief again on the way out. I nod purposefully... he nods in return. 40 seconds later I'm in the front seat of a Nissan Maxima with 70 lbs. of awesome in my lap. Success."

Like a modern-day Robin Hood, Paz is already being hailed on Facebook as a "hero," a "legend," and simply "awesome."

But what of the wronged heiress? How will she cope with the loss ? Fortunately, it seems this wasn't the only cake at the party and it wasn't the only party the famous celebutante had.

More importantly, what does a $2,000 birthday cake taste like?
