Springtime means rain. But are you prepared to look fashionable in the wet weather?
To make sure you are, "Early Show" Style Contributor Katrina Szish showed some of the hottest, slickest styles in raingear -- and a little something for the warm weather to come.
Look 1: The easiest way to brighten up a cloudy day is with a graphic pattern raincoat. Underneath a strapless cutout swimsuit is the ultimate in sexy.
Trench Coat: Custo Barcelona Jacket, Zappos, Zappos.com, $119.00
Swimsuit: Norma Kamali, NormaKamali.com, $235.00
Waterproof shoes: Melissa Vivienne Westood Anglomania + Lady Dragon III, MelissaPlasticDreams.com, $149.00
Umbrella: Kate Spade, $75.00
Sunglasses: D&G, ILORI Luxury Sunglass Boutique, iloristyle.com,
Ring: cc skye, Zappos, Zappos.com, $105.60
Cuff: cc skye, Zappos, Zappos.com, $229.00
Look 2: Burberry is the ultimate classic trench for women. I like to think of it as the Hollywood trench because through the decades this is the go to trench for movie stars. What else do movie stars wear? Sunglasses...why? Because it's always sunny in California and this retro swimsuit is movie star-worthy with its sparkly polka dots and curve hugging shape keeps it sexy by playing with proportion.
Trench Coat: Burberry,
Swimsuit: Rosa Cha, Rosacha.com
Waterproof shoes: Melissa Vivienne Westood + Button Bootie, MelissaPlasticDreams.com, $130.00
Sunglasses: Norma Kamali, NormaKamali.com, $250.00
Lia Sophia earrings
Look 3: Look gives extra flair to a classic with the large gold buttons on a black trench. Her swimsuit hits three of the big spring trends: florals, ruffles and color.
Trench Coat: Michael Kors
Swimsuit: Victoria Secret, Victoria's Secret.com
handbag: Kate Spade, $195.00
Waterproof boots: Hunter, Hunterboot.com, $115.00
rings: Jessica Elliot, Zappos, Zappos.com, $42.00 & $50.00
earrings: Rachel Leigh, Zappos.com, $95.00
Look 4: Men cannot go wrong with a Burberry trench. It looks great on every guy no matter your style. Men's swimwear is all about vintage surf, board shorts with a Hawaiian-inspired pattern.
Look 5: Navy blue is one of my favorite neutrals for men. It feels fresher than black and this is a twist on the classic Macintosh. Underneath, be ready for warmer weather with these multi-striped shorts in shades of blue.
