Kate Middleton Puts Issa on Fashion Map

LONDON (CBS) Daniella Helayel's label Issa is the toast of London as Fashion Week here is set to begin and it's all thanks to princess-to-be Kate Middleton

The royal bride-to-be made Daniella Helayel and Issa front page news when she wore one of its frocks - a brilliant blue draped dress - to announce her engagement to Prince William.

Now all eyes will be on its collection at London fashion week ,which opens Friday.

Middleton has replaced Lady Gaga as the top online fashion search phrase, according to a survey by Global Language Monitor. Fascination with the princess-in-waiting has made her fashion choices a hot topic. And she has been photographed many times in Issa gowns.

Brazilian-born Daniella Helayel, the designer behind Issa London, told London's newspapers that Middleton's engagement dress was one of her career highlights.

Raised in Rio and trained in New York Helayel launched Issa in London in 2000.

The daughters of the Duchess of York, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are also fans for the designer as is pop star Madonna.
