O'Donnell Says Del. GOP Should Have United

Delaware's defeated Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell says she believes the outcome of her race would have been different if Republicans had united after her upset primary win.

O'Donnell said Wednesday on ABC's "Good Morning America" that the "lesson to be learned is to unite." She said there was too much infighting after she beat establishment favorite Rep. Mike Castle in the GOP primary.

O'Donnell says that she doesn't take Tuesday's loss to Democrat Chris Coons personally. Coons won the Senate seat with 57 percent to O'Donnell's 40 percent.

O'Donnell said Republicans in states such as Kentucky united after primaries. Kentucky's tea party-backed Republican Rand Paul won his U.S. Senate race Tuesday after upsetting the GOP establishment candidate in the primaries.
