Online radio audience measurement and ad management firm Ando Media has merged with Spacial Audio, which offers a variety of services, including ad management, for webcasters. The idea is to expand the two companies’ customer bases, since most of Ando’s customers are broadcasters who also stream on the web, while Spacial caters to pure-play webcasters. The companies said in the short-term both brands would continue to operate independently as “the companies are deeply engaged in strategic planning to optimize resources and offerings in a merged entity.” Release.
