President Obama's Schedule Today (11/16/10)

In the morning, President Obama and Vice President Biden will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The president will then meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office and receive the Economic Daily Briefing in the Roosevelt Room.

In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will award the Medal of Honor for conspicuous gallantry to Staff Sergeant Salvatore Giunta, U.S. Army. Staff Sergeant Giunta will receive the Medal of Honor for his courageous actions during combat operations against an armed enemy in the Korengal Valley, Afghanistan in October 2007.

Later, the president will meet with Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) and Reps. Nydia Velazquez (D-N.Y.) and Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in the Oval Office.

Later in the afternoon, the president will meet with Secretary of Defense Gates in the Oval Office.
