(CBS) - Everyone check your mailboxes for Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding invitation!
ABCNews confirms the wedding invitations have been mailed out. About 1,800 invitations began leaving the office of the Lord Chamberlain on Thursday for the eagerly awaited April 29 wedding.
According to the Daily Mail the invitees will receive a "traditional, gold-embossed handwritten invitation".
There are separate cards for the church ceremony in the Westminster Abbey, and the evening reception hosted at the Buckingham Palace.
Kate Nicholl, author of the book "William and Harry: Behind the Palace Walls" tells ABCNews "the golden ticket is the invitation to the evening reception which is being hosted at the Buckingham Palace by the Prince of Wales."
It is said only 300 people are attending the evening reception.
