School Kids Give Obama's New Book Thumbs Up

President Obama has his critics, but you won't find them in the fourth grade class at Capitol Hill Day School, who are describing the president's new childrens book, "THEE I SING: A Letter to My Daughters," as inspiring.

Students, who shared their favorite pages, said the president had created a book that could be enjoyed by people of all ages.

"It didn't just feel like Barack Obama was talking to his daughters, it felt like he was talking to you too," one said.

"THEE I SING," which is illustrated by Loren Long, has quickly become the fastest-selling picture book in Random House Children's Book history. Chip Gibson, the President and Publisher of Random House Children's Books, said the company has sold more than 50,000 copies of Obama's book in its first five days on the market.

The Capitol Hill Day School class was very impressed with the President's writing skills.

"I never knew he could write like that," one student said, while another added: "I didn't know presidents could write."
