When Tiffany Evans was 10 years old, her rich and powerful voice helped her take home the top prize in the Junior Vocalist category of CBS' "Star Search."
The Bronx, N.Y., native is now all of 12 and is about to release her self-titled first album for Columbia Records.
On The Saturday Early Show's Second Cup Cafe, she performs "Let Me Be Your Angel," "I Love Your Smile," and "And I'm Telling You, I'm Not Going," the song she sang on "Star Search."
"I played Vegas when I was 10," she notes with a laugh. "I was the youngest person ever to perform there. It was just amazing, all the lights and the action. It was crazy. I performed with the Smothers Brothers at the Hilton."
Evans has just finished acting in her first feature film, called, "The Diary of a Mad Black Woman." "I'm not the woman," she jokes.
