Former Heisman Trophy-winning football quarterback Tim Tebow isn't just into passing footballs. These days he's also into rings.
Tebow, who formerly played for the University of Florida, helped one couple at an autograph and picture-taking event get engaged.
Ian Lis, an alumni of the University of Florida, wanted to propose to Sarah Springer, his girlfriend of nine years, in an unlikely way. And then finally, he thought of asking Tebow for a little help.
Lis said Tebow welcomed the opportunity to help the couple "with open arms."
Tebow handed the ring to Lis at the event, so he could offer it to Springer as he got down on one knee.
