So, Kate and William are engaged to be married. If you run into them on the street, you are supposed to say congratulations to him. And best wishes to her. Or you can say - "Dude, what took you so long?" William and Katherine have made a huge decision. Not the marriage part. But, the "We choose to live a good portion of our lives out in public" part. It's daring and dangerous and fraught with peril. Everything they say and how they say it will be parsed and re-parsed. Her clothes will be scrutinized to a fare-thee-well. Where they go, who they go with, how they go, will be analyzed and often criticized, ad nauseum. Who would choose such a life? Then again, the perks are pretty good. Living in a castle or a palace can't be all bad -- though you know the help is bound to let slip a family secret or two. So be careful!
