Maxwell launched his line in 2015 and has quickly caught the eye of not just Michelle Obama and Lady Gaga, but celebrities that include Iman and Zendaya. The rising star in the fashion world won the Swarovski award at the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards earlier in the summer.

The dress could be found on the Neiman Marcus website on sale for $628 and the color was "marigold." Those slow to the conversation were out of luck, though, because the dress, which had a fitted bodice and flared mid-calf skirt sold out quickly.
